This little piece came after watching Saving Private Ryan, too much coffee, and reading a couple back issues of Cable. I got this image of the final battle of the Clan Chosen and I couldn't do anything until I purged it from my pysche ( even my pre-cal homework ;) Remember feedback is a good thing, A VERY GOOD THING. the final battle cry
falls away to
a tumult of chaos,
the screams of the final slaughter
pain agony more screams
until the earth weeps the blood of the fallen
and the battleground becomes a grave.
This is followed by an eerie
silence
as a tall figure rises above the rubble
and carnage;
He is
the last He is the survivor
and He alone will walk the
wretched,
weeping earth.
